How to get to Bento Gonçalves
Bento Gonçalves is situated 124km North of Porto Alegre, the capital city of the southernmost state in Brazil.
Upon arrival through the International Airport Salgado Filho in Porto Alegre a shuttle service can be arranged from the airport directly to the hotel in Bento Gonçalves. Check out the schedule and cost through the contacts below
Phone: +55 (51) 3012-5789 or (51) 3464-4872
By plane - The nearest airport is in Caxias do Sul, 45 kilometers away. Porto Alegre Airport is 124 kilometers away.
By car - Coming from Porto Alegre, access by BR-116, RS-122 and RS-470. Coming from Caxias, access by RS-453 and RSC-470
By bus - The companies Itapemirim (http://www.itapemirim.com.br) and Penha (http://www.viacaopenha.com.br) have buses departing from several capitals of the country to Porto Alegre. The Unesul road http://www.unesul.com.br/) makes the line Porto Alegre x Bento Gonçalves
Circulating - The best way to get around Bento Gonçalves is by car - the main attractions are far from the center. The RS-470 crosses the city. It is easy to reach the districts of Tuiuty (where the Salton winery is) and Faria Lemos (home of Dal Pizzol) and the so-called Wine Road (RS-444), which leads to the Vale dos Vinhedos. Those without a car can take the van tour. Bus is not a good one: there are few, with long routes. The Bento Turismo app, available for iOS and Android, has maps with the location of the attractions.
If you arrive through the bus station at Porto Alegre there are several buses departing
from there directly to downtown Bento Gonçalves. Check here for timetables at
